La col·lecció paleontològica Miquel Martorell es va constituir a finals del segle XX en l’entorn del municipi de Santa Eugènia (Mallorca, Mediterrània occidental). Es conserva en el molí den Camarada del poble. La col·lecció està composta principalment per motles de mol·luscs marins miocens i pliocens. La col·lecció està constituïda per centenars d’exemplars fòssils provinents en la gran majoria de l’entorn de les elevacions dels Puigs de Son Seguí, Santa Eugènia i Puget. El principal valor de la col·lecció avui és el d’haver estat mostrejat en bona part en alguns dels LIPs referents pel messinià i pliocè de Mallorca com: Son Palou, Son Seguí o del Comellar des Rafal. En aquest article s’ha procedit a catalogar les localitats i entorns de recerca principals i classificar la majoria de material paleontològic present en la col·lecció encara que sigui sols a nivell de família o gènere. Tot ha servit per a proposar una ordenació del material exposat d’una manera lògica observant l’antiguitat del registre i els paleoambients en ella representats (meso-infralitorals). També per separar el conjunt fossilífer torto- messinià (Ruberts, Son Ametller, Son Seguí) del conjunt pliocè (Son Palou, Ses Corterades, Puget i Son Vent). Aquest darrer període mostra al manco dos cicles marins litorals separats per acumulacions d’ostreids.

The paleontological collection of Miquel Martorell was established at the end of the 20th century in the area of the municipality of Santa Eugènia (Mallorca, Western Mediterranean). It is kept in the village’s mill Camarada. The collection is mainly composed of moulds of Miocene and Pliocene marine molluscs. The collection is made up of hundreds of fossil specimens coming mostly from the area around the Puigs de Son Seguí, Santa Eugènia and Puget elevations. The main value of the collection today is that it has been largely sampled in some of the LIPs that are relevant for the Messinian and Pliocene of Mallorca, such as: Son Palou, Son Seguí or Comellar des Rafal. In this article, the main localities and research environments have been catalogued and the majority of the paleontological material present in the collection has been classified, even if only at the family or genus level. Everything has served to propose an arrangement of the material exhibited in a logical way observing the antiquity of the record and the paleoenvironments represented in it (meso-infralittoral). Also to separate the Torto-Messinian fossiliferous assemblage (Ruberts, Son Ametller, Son Seguí) from the Pliocene assemblage (Son Palou, Ses Corterades, Puget and Son Vent). This last period shows at least two coastal marine cycles separated by accumulations of ostreids
