Se describen y figuran cinco especies de equinoideos del Mioceno superior de Menorca, de las que, además, se comentan algunos aspectos referentes a su distribución geográfica y temporal. El presente estudio ha permitido reafirmar las citas históricas referentes a Echinolampas (Echinolampas) hemisphaerica (Lamarck, 1816) y Hypsoclypus semiglobus (Lamarck, 1816), en tanto que los tres taxones restantes (Echinolampas [Miolampas] manzoni Gregory, 1891, Studeria spratti [Wright, 1864] y Pliolampas vassalli [Wright, 1855]) representan nuevas citas en el Neógeno de las Islas Baleares. Se baraja la posibilidad de que la falta de registro en S. spratti y P. vassalli se relacione con su pequeño tamaño y su posible vinculación con un ambiente sedimentario peculiar.

Five species of echinoids from the Upper Miocene of Menorca are described and listed. Some aspects of their geographic and temporal distribution are also discussed. The present study has allowed to reaffirm the historical quotations refering to Echinolampas (Echinolampas) hemisphaerica (Lamarck, 1816) and Hypsoclypus semiglobus (Lamarck, 1816), while the three remaining taxa (Echinolampas [Miolampas] manzoni Gregory, 1891, Studeria spratti [Wright, 1864] and Pliolampas vassalli [Wright, 1855]) represent new citations in the Neogene of the Balearic Islands, The gap in the paleontological record of S. spratti and P. vassalli is possibly related to their small size and their link with a peculiar sedimentary environment.
